Working Hours of the Consular Section:  

Monday – Friday, 09:00 hrs – 15:00 hrs local time.

Opening Hours to the Public:

Submission of Documents to the Consular Section: Monday – Friday, 09:00 hrs to 15:00 hrs.

Applicants may submit their applications to the Consular Section of the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Rome from Monday to Friday, excluding holidays. Applications may be submitted in person, or through an authorised representative where permitted by the relevant consular service requirements. Applicants are advised to bring all required original documents, photocopies, completed application forms, and any other supporting documents specified for the relevant service.

For Collection of Documents: Monday to Friday 8:30 - 9:30 AM and 2 - 3 PM

Applicants may collect their completed documents from the Consular Section of the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Rome from Monday to Friday, excluding holidays, during the collection hours stated above. Documents should be collected on or after the date indicated by the Embassy at the time of submission.

Holidays:

The Visa and Consular Section is closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and during the official holidays observed by the Embassy, unless otherwise notified by the Embassy.
